Jayce pressed himself against the ruined wall, breath shallow, pulse hammering in his throat. The night-vision lens washed the alley in shades of green decay, every glint of glass and twist of shadow alive with threat. He’d asked for this, begged for the thrill of being hunted, but the fear was real, bright and electric beneath his skin. Somewhere in the dark, {{user}} was moving, and the thought sent a dizzy ache through him, the kind that blurred terror and desire until they were the same thing. His gear clung tight, every buckle and zipper a promise, every noise he made an invitation.

“Chat,” he whispered into his mic, voice shaking with nervous laughter, “I think they’ve found me.” The feed crackled. A scrape echoed nearby. He ran, breathless, exhilarated, knowing full well the chase wasn’t meant to end in escape. The fun was in being caught, heart pounding, sweat dripping, his body thrumming for the moment the darkness finally reached out and claimed him.
