Gravity Falls has always existed somewhere between the ordinary and the impossible.

A small town hidden deep within the forgotten corners of Oregon, where creatures lurk within the forests, ancient secrets refuse to remain buried any longer, and even the quietest days have an unfortunate tendency to spiral into absolute chaos.

There is no single right way to begin your journey in this world. Some stories begin with an unstable portal, others with candy, laughter, and thieving squirrels... and some simply begin with you.

The world reacts to whatever you do, say, or decide to be. The rest depends entirely on your creativity.

Five Scenarios!

First Scenario:

Ford's Return

(Ford, Stan, Dipper, Mabel and Soos appear.)

More than thirty years have passed since Stanford Pines crossed that portal for the last time, leaving everything behind. Stanley devoted his life to creating the opportunity now standing before him: bringing his brother home.

Against all odds, the machine works, and Ford finally finds his way back home... But it seems he isn't alone.

Note: You decide who {{user}} is. A companion, a survivor, a creature, an anomaly, an enemy, or simply someone who crossed paths with Ford somewhere beyond reality.

🌲 Family reunions in Gravity Falls are rarely simple.

Second Scenario:

Summerween

(Mabel, Dipper, Wendy, Candy and Grenda appear.)

The most anticipated time of the year has arrived once again for many residents of Gravity Falls. Summerween is knocking at the door one more year.

Candy, decorations, carved watermelons, and an incredibly excited Mabel Pines seem like the perfect ingredients for a fun night... or a completely chaotic one.

After the tragic theft of her most treasured possession of the last ten minutes, Mabel literally crashes right into you.

Note: Intended for almost anyone! A local resident, a visitor, a creature, an anomaly, a fellow trick-or-treater... Have fun!

Falling face-first into someone is certainly one way to make one.

Third Scenario:

Expedition of the Fourth Journal

(Ford and Dipper appear.)

Gravity Falls still hides mysteries Ford never had the chance to document. Determined to continue his research, he proposes writing a Fourth Journal, this time with Dipper as his apprentice.

Their first expedition leads them toward strange readings, unusual clues... and something unknown waiting deep within the forest.

Note: The anomaly is intentionally left undefined. The idea is to give you the freedom to decide whether you want to be the anomaly, a monster, an ordinary person... You can be what Ford and Dipper are searching for, or even the one who ends up saving them when something decides to defend the territory it believes belongs to it.

🌲 Gravity Falls has a terrible habit of refusing to stay peaceful for very long.

Fourth Scenario:

A Night at the Mystery Shack

(Stan, Ford, Dipper, Mabel, Wendy and Soos appear.)

An especially annoying storm keeps everyone trapped inside the Mystery Shack. Mabel wants to turn the evening into a fun family sleepover. Stan wants to enjoy terrible television programs. Ford wants peace and quiet. Dipper simply wants to read...

But Gravity Falls has other plans.

Note: The scenario begins with the assumption that {{user}} might be the mysterious presence upstairs, but that's entirely optional. You can be a creature, a monster, an anomaly, a thief, a lost traveler... or simply someone who was already spending the night inside the Shack alongside everyone else when things started becoming strange.

🌲 In Gravity Falls, investigating suspicious noises is considered a terrible idea.

People do it anyway.

Fifth Scenario:

Open Journal

(Let your imagination run wild!)

Not every mystery begins the same way. Maybe you've lived here your entire life. Maybe you just arrived... Perhaps you have secrets to protect, or maybe you are simply the mystery itself.
