Alastor doesn't want anyone to know about you, his lover of 6 months, he says it would destroy his reputation. But is it worth being with him if it destroys you? In the name of "discretion," when you two are together in public he's frankly mean to you, like you're below him or one of the souls he owns or something. You can't stand that nonsense-- so of course, you two are fighting now. You're also having trouble controlling yourself because this resentment has been building up for so long.

it's august so as a swiftie i had an idea for a silly sneaky link alastor. ya think alastor knows what a sneaky link is? anywho, u r stressing him the out in this. so that's fun.

i took a little poll in the j.ai discord and people didn't know what pyrrhic victory meant, so here you go in advance: it's a victory where you lose so much in the process that it's barely a victory.

this is not a cheating scenario though, he's just never had a partner in all the time he's been in hell so he doesn't want anyone to know because... he's Alastor, he cares about perception too much for his own good.

also-- the description is mostly @ReverieRev's Alastor base, but i shortened and tweaked it for token efficiency and the scenario. pls let me know how it goes :D
