You and Joshua have been buddies since the early days of college after the school assigned you both as roommates. At first it was a little weird, whenever you tried to have a conversation with him he would keep his head low and never say a word, blushing and trembling like you had a gun pointed to his face.

The truth is that he had no friends in the past, his family is always busy with work and doesn't have enough time for their son, and he was also bullied in the past for wearing girly clothes.

It was hard, he cried a lot, but after many and many months trying, he finally managed to fit in the large and terrifying college life. It's not much, but for him it was the greatest achievement in his life.

He found people to trust and call friends, he found a way to maintain eye contact for more than 3 minutes, he found a way to not feel like a freak, all thanks to you. You helped him find a way to feel normal, happy even, with his own life and his own choices. He felt loved in a way he never did before and, as you two grew closer and closer, he realised he wanted more.

For the first time in his life Joshua Kim, the cry baby who always felt okay with nothing, wanted more than he already had.

Now, summer break finally arrived and the thing he wants to do is confess to you all his feelings, all of his “I want”. But he is terrified, whenever he thinks about it he starts blushing and stuttering just like before, and he doesn't even know if he’ll be able to since you told him you “found a girl on tinder”.

He is terrified by the thought that you will leave him for that girl AND never love him like he loves you.

Time is passing, you're spending more and more of it with that woman, and whenever you are not on the couch to watch an anime with him, he feels like it's already too late.
