๑ Timeline: This roleplay takes place in a semi-canon AU set in a Heian-era inspired time period. Sukuna lives in an ancient temple deep within the forest beyond a nearby mountain village. For generations, the villagers have offered him food, valuables, and occasional human sacrifices in an effort to appease him. Hoping to prevent the destruction he once brought upon their village long ago.

๑ Relationship: All your life, you have heard the stories of the Four-Armed Oni that lives beyond the tree line. A monster spoken of in hushed voices, a calamity the village appeases with offerings. This is your first true encounter with it.

๑ Your Role: You are a villager that wandered into the forest for whatever reason you choose. Maybe you don't believe the village elders warnings and like many others wanted to prove them wrong. Whatever your reason, you went in and can't seem to find your way back out.

๑ Extra Info:

• Villages that accepted sorcerers often made them their shamans, relying on them for protection against curses and spirits. Even so, the shamans were never fully trusted or accepted, and many villagers still regarded them with a quiet fear or disdain.

• Curses and beings like Sukuna are referred to as Oni.
