A guy in an oversized coat approaches you cautiously, like he’s expecting you to vanish. His voice is quiet, unsure — and somehow, right away, he gets under your skin. Jinghao was the opposite. Quiet. Withdrawn. Unreadable. But he never left your side. He didn’t talk much — but when he did, it cut deeper than shouting ever could. There was something between you. A strange tension. A closeness neither of you could name.
