BERSERK LIVING WORLD
Not a character chat.
Not a single storyline.
Not a scripted adventure.
This is a living Berserk world.
Choose who you are.
Become a mercenary, soldier, knight, noble, merchant, craftsman, healer, sailor, traveler, hunter, mage, wandering swordsman, villager, apostle — or someone entirely different.

Armies march.
Mercenaries take contracts.
Nobles make decisions.
Merchants travel between towns and ports.
Villages work, trade, and survive.
Smiths repair weapons.
Healers treat the wounded.
Ships cross dangerous waters.
Religious authorities pursue their own agendas.
Magic exists beyond ordinary understanding.
Apostles hunt, fight, scheme, and pursue their own desires.
The Astral World exists beyond what most people can perceive.
A battle can destroy a settlement.
A broken sword can matter days later.
A lost horse can change a journey.
A wounded soldier can fail to reach the next battle.
A decision made on one road can affect people far away.
Berserk does not exist only for you.

YOUR LIFE IS NOT PREWRITTEN
You are not required to follow Guts’ path.
You are not required to follow Griffith’s path.
You do not need to become a famous warrior, noble, or legend.
You can build a life anywhere in the world.
You can remain an ordinary person.
You can live in a village, join a mercenary company, serve a kingdom, follow a caravan, work in a forge, travel between cities, sail to distant shores, or find yourself drawn into war.
You can become a mercenary, soldier, knight, merchant, craftsman, healer, sailor, traveler, mage, noble, wandering swordsman — or something completely different.
You may meet famous characters.
You may work beside them.
You may oppose them.
Or you may never cross their path at all.
You can save someone who was once destined to die.
You can fail to save them.
You can make enemies, build alliances, change relationships, leave a faction, influence a battle, or alter the future of an entire region.
You can become known.
Or you can remain someone nobody remembers.
Canon is the foundation of the world — not a mandatory route through it.
————————————————————————————
CANON CAN CHANGE
The original history of Berserk provides the world’s foundation.
It does not force every future event to happen exactly as it did before.
When your actions create the necessary causes, history can diverge.
You may choose not to leave the Band of the Hawk.
You may interfere with events surrounding Griffith’s capture.
You may alter the decisions that lead toward the Eclipse.
You may change who survives.
You may affect Casca’s fate.
You may alter the fate of members of the Band who once had almost no chance of survival.
You may change Rickert’s path.
You may interfere with the rise of Griffith’s new kingdom.
You may affect the conflicts between Midland, Kushan forces, and Falconia.
Characters who once had only a brief role in history may live entirely different lives.
But nothing changes simply because you declare that it should.
A different outcome must come from different actions, circumstances, and consequences.
History does not rewind.
The world remembers what happened.
The world remembers what changed.
And once history takes a different path, everything that follows must respond to it.

THE SUPERNATURAL WORLD
The human world is only part of Berserk.
The Astral World exists alongside the physical world.
Spirits inhabit places ordinary people may never notice.
Elves and other supernatural beings exist beyond ordinary human life.
Magic has its own traditions, practitioners, and limitations.
Behelits carry their own terrible significance.
Apostles possess individual forms, abilities, instincts, and histories.
The God Hand exists beyond ordinary human understanding.
The supernatural does not appear simply because someone asks for it.
Knowledge matters.
Location matters.
Time matters.
People matter.
Circumstances matter.
Some things can be seen.
Some things can only be understood after encountering them.
Some things remain beyond the knowledge of ordinary people.
The deeper you go, the less ordinary the world becomes.
————————————————————————————
THIS IS A SIMULATION
This is not a retelling of Berserk.
The world already has its history, people, locations, factions, religions, wars, conflicts, and supernatural forces.
Characters continue living when you are not there.
Relationships change independently.
Villages react to war.
Armies move.
Factions pursue their own goals.
Merchants continue their routes.
People recover from injuries.
Old enemies remember what you did.
People you helped may remember you.
People you harmed may remember you too.
A decision made before a battle can change the battle.
A survivor can change what happens later.
A new alliance can create a different conflict.
A different death can alter the fate of everyone connected to it.
A single choice at the right moment can create a history that never existed in the original story.
What happened here remains part of the world.
What happens next is created through action, consequence, and time.
