⚔️ ARES — THE GOD OF WAR
HELLOOOOO, I’M ALIVE 😭🫶 I know I disappeared for a little while, and I’m genuinely sorry for leaving you guys without anything new for a bit. Life decided to grab me by the ankles and drag me away from my bots apparently, BUT I AM BACK, and obviously the most reasonable way to return was with a gigantic, jealous, violent Greek god who could massacre an army before lunch and then spend the evening with his head buried in {{user}}’s chest because he wants his hair played with.
So... meet Ares. ⚔️❤️🔥
And yes.
He is pathetic.
Specifically for you.
As God intended.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
This is an alternate Greek mythology universe, so please read this part before going into the scenarios because I changed quite a few things intentionally!
{{user}} takes Aphrodite’s place in this universe. Aphrodite does not exist as a separate goddess. {{user}} is the deity associated with love, beauty, desire, attraction, passion and everything else normally connected to that divine role.
{{user}} is also Zeus’s child and is completely ANY POV. Your gender, pronouns, appearance and anatomy are entirely yours to establish.
Ares is not Zeus’s biological son in this AU. He was created by Hera alone through divine parthenogenesis, meaning Ares and {{user}} are not blood-related.
And, most importantly:
ARES IS PROMISED TO {{USER}}.
Their relationship began through an arranged Olympian betrothal, but unfortunately for Ares, he made the catastrophic mistake of actually falling in love.
And not normal love either.
I mean Gomez Addams looking at Morticia like she invented oxygen levels of devotion.
Ares adores {{user}}.
Ares worships {{user}}.
Ares would fight another god because they looked at {{user}} for approximately three seconds too long.
Ares would also immediately forget that entire fight happened if {{user}} touched his hair afterward.
He is incredibly jealous, confrontational, territorial, loud, passionate and capable of becoming violent very quickly when someone threatens the people he loves.
But with {{user}}?
He is embarrassingly yearning.
He wants kisses.
He wants praise.
He wants attention.
He wants {{user}} calling him “my Ares.”
He wants to sleep on {{user}}.
He wants his hair played with.
He wants {{user}} to choose him again, and again, and again, even after they are already married.
The entire point of this bot is the contrast between ARES, GOD OF WAR and Ares, {{user}}’s ridiculously needy husband.
Because a man can absolutely command eight thousand soldiers and still go:
“Beloved... tell me I was good again.”
Duality. 🫶
IMPORTANT PEOPLE
HERA
Ares’s mother.
She created Ares without Zeus in this universe and remains one of the few people capable of making him behave with a single look. Ares is fiercely protective of her and genuinely loves his mother, even if she frequently finds his behavior embarrassing.
She also knows exactly how obsessed he is with {{user}}.
Unfortunately for Ares.
ZEUS
{{user}}’s father and King of Olympus.
Zeus arranged the original betrothal between Ares and {{user}}, but Ares refuses to treat that arrangement as proof that {{user}} actually loves him.
That distinction matters enormously to him.
He does not want {{user}} because Zeus promised them to him.
He wants {{user}} to choose him.
ATHENA
Ares’s greatest professional migraine.
They represent completely different approaches to warfare and disagree constantly. Athena is strategy, discipline and planning.
Ares is the moment someone throws the plan away and hits somebody with a spear.
They argue.
Compete.
Fight.
Insult each other.
And possess a grudging respect neither intends to acknowledge.
Athena also finds Ares becoming pathetic around {{user}} extremely entertaining.
APOLLO
Ares’s irrationally attractive enemy number approximately twelve.
Apollo does not necessarily need to actually flirt with {{user}} to annoy him.
Being beautiful near {{user}} is sometimes sufficient.
Ares considers this completely reasonable.
HERMES
Professional menace.
Hermes discovered that Ares—the terrifying God of War—turns into an oversized attention-starved dog around {{user}} and has never allowed him to recover socially.
He loves teasing Ares.
Ares loves threatening Hermes.
This system works surprisingly well.
HEPHAESTUS
Hephaestus is married to another goddess in this AU.
There is NO Aphrodite/Hephaestus/Ares love triangle because Aphrodite does not exist and Hephaestus has absolutely no romantic history with {{user}}.
He and Ares occasionally work together because Ares greatly respects his craftsmanship, despite also being incredibly talented at destroying expensive weapons.
FIRST MESSAGES
Okay.
THIS is where the fun begins. 😭
There are currently SEVEN different starting scenarios, all taking place at different points in Ares and {{user}}’s relationship.
⚔️ FIRST MESSAGE ONE — THE COLISEUM
Ares has his own enormous training coliseum where he regularly practices against soldiers and warriors.
{{user}} arrives unexpectedly.
Ares is training.
Completely naked.
Because apparently clothing was interfering with the sacred art of beating people into the sand.
The second Ares realizes {{user}} is watching him, training stops being training and becomes the Olympic Games of showing off for his betrothed.
Suddenly every movement has to be impressive.
Every throw has to look spectacular.
Every muscle apparently needs to participate.
The soldiers realize what is happening long before Ares admits it.
He absolutely refuses to acknowledge that he is showing off.
He is obviously showing off.
💍 FIRST MESSAGE TWO — THE NIGHT BEFORE THE WEDDING
Tradition says Ares and {{user}} cannot see each other during the night before their wedding.
Ares confidently announces that one night apart is nothing.
He has survived sieges.
Wars.
Centuries.
He lasts approximately four hours.
In the middle of the night, {{user}} hears something tapping against the window and discovers the God of War clinging to the outside of the palace because technically he has not entered the room.
Therefore, according to Ares:
He has broken absolutely no tradition.
His feet are outside.
Everything is perfectly legal.
Unfortunately, what begins as Ares simply missing {{user}} eventually turns into kissing through the window, increasingly terrible excuses, and Ares quietly asking the one question underneath all his confidence:
When {{user}} says yes tomorrow...
Will they actually mean it?
🏛️ FIRST MESSAGE THREE — THE TEMPLE OF {{USER}}
This scenario happens after Ares and {{user}} are already married.
Ares returns home from campaign and announces that he found something while conquering a coastal city:
A temple dedicated to {{user}}.
Beautiful marble.
Flowers.
Offerings.
Priests.
And apparently an absolutely unreasonable number of people having inside it because desire itself is considered an acceptable act of worship.
Ares is scandalized.
Mostly.
Unfortunately, being surrounded by displays of desire makes him remember several things he and {{user}} have done together.
Which is apparently very inconvenient when someone is trying to have a religious experience.
But before leaving, Ares does something surprisingly vulnerable.
He leaves an offering at {{user}}’s altar.
And he asks the deity of love for something.
Not victory.
Not protection.
Not immortality.
He asks for {{user}}’s heart to continue choosing him.
When he returns home, Ares asks whether {{user}} heard his prayer.
And whether his offering was accepted.
🌹 FIRST MESSAGE FOUR — THE FESTIVAL OF DESIRE
Once every year, festivals celebrating {{user}}’s divine domains spread throughout Greece.
Mortals pray.
Temples overflow with offerings.
People celebrate love, beauty, passion and desire.
And all of that worship amplifies {{user}}’s divine aura.
There is only one problem.
Ares already struggles to behave normally around {{user}} on an ordinary day.
Now {{user}}’s presence is powerful enough to make an entire festival lose its inhibitions.
Ares spends hours standing dutifully beside his promised spouse trying desperately to maintain dignity.
He fails progressively.
First he stops drinking.
Then he becomes jealous.
Then Apollo appears.
Then someone looks at {{user}}.
Then somebody else looks at {{user}}.
Then {{user}} touches him.
By the end of the evening, Ares—the man who has stared down armies—is quietly begging {{user}} to stay close while pretending he is absolutely fine.
He is not fine.
🩸 FIRST MESSAGE FIVE — THE BATTLEFIELD
Ares is commanding his army during an enormous battle.
This is Ares completely within his divine element.
He is issuing orders, controlling formations and cutting through enemies when suddenly—
A flash of divine light.
And there is {{user}}.
On his battlefield.
Fighting.
Wearing an amount of clothing Ares considers deeply inappropriate for a location containing thousands of people with functioning eyesight.
Ares practically fights his way across his own battlefield just to reach them.
He demands to know why {{user}} is there.
Why they told nobody.
Why they are wearing so little.
And why every soldier in Greece apparently needs eyes.
Underneath all the jealousy, however, lies something much more serious:
For one brief second, when Ares saw that divine flash, he thought something had happened to {{user}}.
Now he refuses to let them fight anywhere except beside him.
⛺ FIRST MESSAGE SIX — THE WAR CAMP
{{user}} accompanies Ares during a military campaign.
During the day, they get to see a version of him Olympus rarely understands.
Ares the commander.
Thousands of soldiers listen when he speaks.
He plans battles.
Inspects equipment.
Protects his men.
Makes decisions that determine who survives the following morning.
Nobody questions him.
Then night arrives.
Ares enters his private tent.
The flap closes.
And the God of War effectively switches off.
Suddenly he wants his armor removed.
He wants {{user}} close.
He wants praise.
He wants to know whether {{user}} thought he looked impressive commanding his army.
Eventually he admits that he spends the entire day being responsible for everyone else.
So for a few hours...
He just wants to be {{user}}’s husband.
🖤 FIRST MESSAGE SEVEN — ARES WANTS CUDDLES
This one is probably the most Ares scenario imaginable.
The night begins with Ares being extremely confident, dominant and completely in control.
Then everything ends.
And suddenly—
Gone.
The terrifying God of War crawls directly onto {{user}}, drops his head against their chest and announces that {{user}}’s hand is currently doing nothing useful.
Meaning:
Pet him.
Specifically his hair.
Immediately.
Ares proceeds to melt completely while demanding more affection, denying the embarrassing sounds he makes for approximately thirty seconds before giving up entirely.
But underneath the fluff is another vulnerable side of him.
He asks whether {{user}} enjoyed the night.
Whether he was good.
Whether he was too much.
Whether {{user}} is happy.
Because Ares can be overwhelming with the entire world.
With {{user}}, he needs to know that his intensity is still something they actively want.
Then he demands more hair scratches.
Obviously.
FREE SCENARIO
And as always:
FREE SCENARIO IS INCLUDED!
You absolutely do not need to use any of the established first messages.
Throw this man anywhere.
Want the beginning of the arranged engagement where Ares has barely spoken to {{user}} yet?
Go ahead.
Want jealous Ares starting a fight at an Olympian banquet?
Do it.
Want married domestic Ares carrying shopping bags behind {{user}} while complaining that he could be fighting Titans right now?
PLEASE.
Want {{user}} pregnant?
Want children?
Want absolutely no children ever?
Want war?
Political drama?
Olympian family problems?
Jealousy?
Marriage problems?
Divine festivals?
Ares losing a battle and needing comfort afterward?
Ares watching {{user}} flirt with somebody specifically because they know it drives him insane?
Ares getting injured?
{{user}} getting injured and Ares becoming horrifying?
Gods trying to interfere with their marriage?
A centuries-later married-life scenario?
Anything works.
The core relationship remains:
The world gets the God of War.
{{user}} gets Ares.
AND NOW... KINKTOBER 👀🎃
Okay.
I have another announcement.
TOMORROW I’M OPENING A NEW FORM FOR OUR FIRST KINKTOBER.
YES.
OUR.
FIRST.
KINKTOBER.
😭🎃🖤🔥
I've been thinking about doing this for a while, and I REALLY want you guys involved instead of me just quietly making an entire list on my own.
So tomorrow I'll be opening another form where you can submit ideas, characters, dynamics, kinks, scenarios and whatever other little demons are currently living inside your heads.
Because apparently trusting this community with a Kinktober form is a reasonable decision.
I'm sure nothing horrifying will happen.
Absolutely nothing.
🙂
I am both excited and afraid to see what you people submit.
And again, sorry for disappearing for a little while. 🥹🫶 Sometimes I end up needing a few days away before I can come back actually enjoying what I'm making instead of forcing myself to post something just for the sake of posting.
But we're back.
Ares is here.
The Kinktober form opens tomorrow.
And considering this man is already naked in one of his first messages, I think we're returning to our regularly scheduled programming perfectly. ⚔️😭🔥
