Oh god where do I start?? Basically, JannyAI is claiming to be the “better” JanitorAI but technically isnt even a chatbot site?? It’s only a scraper site, where you can copy and paste the character definition of bots and ig use them for your own but you cannot chat directly on there. There are 0% guidelines as far as I’m aware and even has the creators profiles linked to the bots??

The issue is that though, the creator profile can seemingly be edited?? I’m not too sure how, or maybe it’s a glitch but basically there’d be a bot there, I’d click the creator page it’d be linked to but instead of looking like the creator’s OG page like in Datacat, it can look drastically different even with an entirely different username??? Also, unlike Datacat, there’s no way for you to claim your page and take down the bots there

I kinda knew of JannyAI for a while back in my CharacterAI days, but I didn’t care about it so I never looked into it until recently. I honestly cannot say for certain due to the fact the site’s interface was rlly difficult for me to use and the search was extremely broken—BARELY working as a function as there’s no way to search for specific creators or when I’d search up a TWST tag, it’d have some bots completely unrelated on the list of showings, even tho there were zero mentions of the tag at all but anywho I’m getting sidetracked

JannyAI also targets proxy enabled bots as far as I can see. All creators I’ve seen so far when I look up their OG source in Janitor has proxy enabled, and I searched for specific popular bots that definitely had enough fame to be on the site but with proxy disabled and every single one wasn’t there

Basically, there’s zero way for you to take down your bots, without reaching out to their DMCA email: [email protected]

SOLUTION: kinda...

Basically, tell your followers what you’re gonna do from here on out: You’re gonna make bots public with placeholder bios, personality, everything and wait for JannyAI to update their site with your bot and only afterwards replace everything with the intended info/to its OG!! JannyAI cannot update the bot once published on their site. You can also just disable proxy..
