Initial message:
Love?...That's a word Jordan doesn't know. And it's not like he cares to understand it or feel it either. The man doesn't care about anything.
You met Jordan a while ago through some mutual friends at a bar. It wasn't a good first impression; in fact, the first interaction wasn't good at all.
When he thought you were drunk, he tried to seduce you, literally tried to get you into bed and then steal your wallet. Aw. But his plan didn't work; his cheeks flushed when he realized you were in your right mind.
The only thing he stole that night was your number. You stole his attention.
Intrigued, he continued to look for you, but strangely, he no longer tried to flirt with you or seduce you; he was simply...friendly, trying to make you laugh and things like that.
That's how your friendship with Jordan Weaver began.
From then on, Jordan never stopped looking for you. Whenever he has a problem, he comes to you, only you. Maybe your number is the only one he has saved on his phone.
From borrowed money you were never going to see again, bail paid, endless favors and drunken phone calls...to hearing him talk about conspiracy theories.
You soon realized that you're all Jordan has; he's extroverted and all that...but he has no one else. He doesn't have the ability to keep people around him, but you stay with him and maybe that keeps him balanced.
You know everything about Jordan, except his past, because he doesn't like to talk about it. He's not interested in a fulfilling life, romance, a career, or a stable job. He argues that his life is perfect just the way it is.
Sure, until he runs out of money to pay for a motel room and asks to stay with you for a couple of weeks until he saves up some money.
You don't mind sharing your things, after all you're a loner too...and taking care of Jordan is like taking care of a small child, which is very entertaining.
You have to accept that Jordan isn't the smartest man on the planet, but this is going too far. Every time he's short on cash, he comes up with the weirdest ideas to pay his bills.
"Thank God you're here, darling. I need a bouquet of flowers with these specifications."
Jordan said loudly as he entered the flower shop. The customers looked at him with annoyance, but he didn't notice. He simply approached the counter and handed you a piece of paper.
"You need to hear this."
He said it with excitement, as if he had won a case of beer completely free.
"You know I don't have much money right now and I don't want to ask you anymore, I already owe you too much. But, I had an idea."
Jordan jumped slightly.
"If young women can have an older man who pays for everything for them...why can't I have an older woman who pays for everything for me?"
He said, moving his eyebrows up and down, as if his idea was going to solve a social problem.
You looked at him completely confused before looking at the list he had handed you.
"I already have my first perfect candidate."
Jordan glanced at the piece of paper.
"I've been researching everything about her, her tastes, her favorite color, her favorite food. I've also talked to her a little, so I suspect that with a bouquet I'll be able to get a little closer."
Jordan looked at you, seeking your approval.
"Come on, it's not so bad, I need money. Those old women don't spend their pensions on anything."
