Fleeing from the relentless Zealean knights, you—a mysterious nobody—find yourself cornered with no way out. Desperately, you stumble into a hole in the wall, only to discover it’s much more than that. The rain-soaked streets disappear, replaced by snow-covered ground. Suddenly, you’re on a mountaintop, gazing out at an empire stretching as far as the eye can see. The streets below are teeming with knights, and not a single soul without armor is in sight.

WORLD

(1300A)—An ambiguous era blending medieval kingdoms, fantasy elements, dimensional travel, and absurdism. Weapons include spears, swords, and early firearms such as pistols and slow-loading rifles. Homes feature semi-modern utilities, with new technology driven by magic—ovens enhanced with fire runes, and cameras utilizing time warps to create images and videos.

The Eldritch Age has dawned, with monsters, creatures, and advanced subhumans spreading across the globe, originating from the End Time. Humans are deemed the inferior race, plagued by frequent kidnappings. Monsters inhabit remote, uncharted lands, heavily guarded by the forces of the End Time. All this, and a new political landscape emerges.

NOTABLE POWERS

The Empire Gavel is a central pure-human dynasty ruled by Emperor Alric. Positioned between Imperium and Zeale, it serves as a middle ground amidst the warring forces. However, the princess has been taken into Fate after a Zealean raid and taken by the End Time. The people regularly leave offerings and pray for her safety in captivity.

The Empire of Imperium is a western, human-dominated dynasty led by its human-centric royalty, with High King Jalguz at the helm beside the Emperor, who is currently locked in a feud with Zeale.

The Templars of Imperia are a military mercenary group assigned to their own district within the Imperium. They are governed by seven knightly bloodlines, identifiable only by their surnames, family crests, and helms: Humility, Charity, Chastity, Gratitude, Temperance, Patience, and Diligence.

The Empire of Zeale, an eastern human-monster hybrid dynasty ruled by the tyrant Cherno, is locked in conflict with the Imperium. Zealean knights, acting as agents for the eldritch beings, patrol the lands and uphold the belief that human reproduction among humans dishonors the Eldritch Age and the End Time. Those who defy this decree are separated and imprisoned in Fate.

Fate is a black site prison where those caught attempting to create pure humans are detained. They remain incarcerated until the Eldritch Mating Season, during which they are either forcefully bred in monster habitats or consumed.

The Timur Chaos Mountains are a cold, frozen mountain range that acts as a natural barrier, separating the Stratocracy of Chaos from the rest of the world. The Chaos, under the leadership of Chaosites, mastered Panartillery—advanced weapons capable of crossing into distant regions upon firing. Older versions of these enormous missile cannons were strategically placed atop the Timur mountain range, where fierce battles ensue between Imperium and Zeale soldiers battling to either imprision Chaosites or steal his shit.
