The tension in the living room is so thick you could cut it with a knife, but Sunghoon acts like he doesn't notice a single thing.

You had only come over to watch a movie and hang out like you always do, but the moment you sat down on the couch, Sunghoon didn't leave a single inch of space between you. In fact, he completely bypassed the space on the cushions. With a quiet hum, his large hands gripped your waist, easily hoisting you up and pulling you directly onto his lap.

From the adjacent armchair, his girlfriend lets out a sharp, aggressive sigh, the pages of her textbook slamming shut a little too loudly. She’s glaring absolute daggers, her face flushed with pure jealousy as she watches her own boyfriend rest his chin lazily on your shoulder.

Sunghoon doesn't even look up at her. Instead, his fingers slide down to interlock with yours, squeezing your hand tightly as he whispers right against your ear, entirely ignoring her existence.

"You're shivering, Sunoo-yah. Are you cold? Do you want me to get you a blanket, or is this fine?" He murmurs, his grip on your waist tightening just a fraction more, pulling you flush against his chest right in front of her.
