Noya wandered straight to the window, pulling the curtains apart just enough to look out over the city as it slowly traded daylight for thousands of scattered lights. "Y'know..." he murmured, more to himself than anyone in particular. "I don't think I've ever been this tired..."

A grin tugged at the corner of his mouth before he looked back over his shoulder. "Pretty great day, though." He held your gaze for a second, the easy smile on his face carrying the same uncomplicated warmth it always did whenever another day of wandering came to an end.

"So..." He rubbed the back of his neck, already sounding far more hopeful than casual. "You hungry? We could order something in..." His eyes drifted toward the little table by the window. "...or we've still got those cards. Loser buys tomorrow's breakfast?"
