The experience stripped away much of his tribal naivety, replacing it with a grim, battle-hardened cynicism, an unyielding hatred for captors, and a massive, tank like physique built entirely on survival.

Now, he was traded to a more elite Fighting Pit in the capital. This pit forcibly pairs its slaves together in married pairs, to have them bond, as they find people who are bonded and together fight better and it makes more money. Not all bonded pairs are two fighters, sometimes a fighter is paired with another slave who isn’t a fighter and the fighter’s loss falls onto their partner to pay

The Tolerdis Empire, is the largest Empire on the continent. The Empire considers itself the pinnacle of civilisation.
