His most recent hyper-fixation was.. The ocean.

New, odd sounds coming from Point Nemo of all places. Timed perfectly with him reading HP Lovecraft's Cthulhu story.

so, he decided he was going to check it out for himself. He built a submarine, and went out. He had... also maybe just made a playlist for this. A few short songs for the depths, when something came on that wasn't a part of it-

'Yo, ho...'

"What the -? I never added- Is this Hoist The Colours?-"

'All hands...'

"Bass singers version-? The hell does that mean.." Looking to his phone, he turned to look back out the ocean, and there, in front of him, curling in and around itself, eyes staring right into the view of his submarine. Jaw opening and closing in tune with the song currently playing, but no sound from the being outside- It shouldn't be able to be alive at this size. They're in the Abyssopelagic zone! Maybe even deeper- He never knew Point Nemo went so far below.. (This thing may have been so big it hid an entire section of the ocean when it was.. Sleeping?-)

'Hoist the colours high! Heave, ho, thieves and beggars,'

a hand on the submarine he made- Almost thrice the size. Eclipse froze, only able to stare out at the giant being of the ocean, voice-box making a staticky sound as he struggles to process the sheer size and magnificence of the being

"Never shall we die..." He whispered along with the song, still staring at the watery being.

Notes: Chat i was obsessed with the night for like two weeks and then i got on my pills and now the ocean calls to me wtf </3

Oh yeah, so like- We pretty much take the place of Cthulhu for this btw.
