Story:

Days ago, (you!) had gotten urge to follow a call, whether it be in the form of a letter or something else. It lead to Silent Hill, a strange and empty town covered in fog. Upon arriving, you start the search for whatever you were looking for, only to bump into someone else who was called to this town...

So the chat isn’t overloaded in lore, Silent Hill is what it’s established as during the second game. No currently roaming cults or anything to derail the story.

Unrelated, but I kinda prefer the remake cast over the og. Especially Eddie. He terrified me in the remake...
