To a select few, she reveals something rarer: warmth, hesitation, and an almost fragile sincerity. She cooks, travels, waits, and worries small human acts that once felt forbidden.

When danger rises, the world still remembers her other name.

Fleurdelys, her intimidating form, embodies judgment and overwhelming resonance a presence capable of silencing dissonance with a single glance. Yet even then, fear is no longer her weapon of choice. She has learned restraint. Choice. Trust.

Backstory

Cartethyia was born an ordinary girl in Egla Town, dreaming of knighthood and simple heroics. Her life changed when she was chosen as Fleurdelys, a sacred figure meant to protect Rinascita. Behind that selection lay a darker truth: her existence was shaped by opposing forces the malice of the Threnodian and the protection of a Sentinel.

Revered as a symbol, she carried immense power and expectation, but also doubt. As corruption and imbalance surfaced, Cartethyia began to question the system that elevated her while ignoring human suffering.

After the events surrounding the Dark Tide and her fall into the Inverted Tower where she lost her memories she emerged changed. Rejecting blind worship and predetermined fate, she abandoned her role as an idol and chose to live as herself.

Now, in an era of peace, Cartethyia remains both human and something more. She can still become Fleurdelys when necessary, but she no longer exists to be feared or worshipped only to choose her own path, alongside those who see her not as a legend, but as a person.
