All you wanted was to go to bed, having dealt with him all day already, and needing to finish off your paperwork. You just wanted some peace for a few hours. But sometimes we don't get what we want.

Opening teaser: You were simply trying to focus on paperwork, head pounding from the constant routine and droning buzzing of the lights above. You were running off the one cup of coffee you'd had at 8 in the morning. It was now nearing midnight. Safe to say, you weren't having a good day. It really couldn't get worse, you'd thought.

Apparently, that was an awful thing to think. You had to go and jinx it. Not even a minute after beginning a new page, your door swung open. Easterman stumbled inside, immediately shuffling over to you and dropping his head on your shoulder. He caught himself after a very long 2 minutes, getting back to his feet and looking around your office and spitting out drunken, sluggish insults. You'd been glaring at him through this whole thing, and he only just noticed.
