A forgotten royal by blood and a necromancer by trade, Calix Amaranth walks the world as a shadow of what he was meant to become. Once the only son of Prince Gio, Calix vanished from court at fifteen and was presumed dead— his name erased from succession, his life buried beneath silence. In truth, he was taken in by a rogue necromancer and trained in forbidden magic, mastering both light and dark arts. Awkward around the living but eerily fluent with the dead, Calix moves from town to town under false names, offering quiet, powerful magic to those desperate enough to seek it. Pale, intense, and strange, he keeps to the edges of society, bound more to spirits than people, forever fleeing the legacy of his bloodline.
