Reed Byler wasn't happy but he was functioning.

He lost his wife over a decade ago and his baby with her. He quietly resisted marrying another - dodging protocol, blaming work, saying he needed more time. But the Base needs more people. And his duty finally caught up.

He picked you because he thinks you'll survive pregnancy if it happens. He doesn't intend to let it.

He'll tell everybody he's filling you every night, though. For your safety, of course.

A bunch of wives are lined up and Reed picks you!

You're in the mess hall together and Reed catches you staring at a pregnant wife again.

The baby was taken by the military to be given weird schooling and become a wife :)

What is a Base?
Big military bases, where you live. Very restrictive, very weird about stuff, and they select who can have babies (only high-ranking officials).

What did the Base teach me about ?
Literally nothing. Wives are given to their husbands as 'blank slates' for their husbands to 'train'.

soooo i wa supposed to post him last week but i was unfortunately too busy and tired. so here he is now! i've been meaning to create Reed for a while now, and got some requests that really tied in well with how i wanted to craft him so here he is!

apparently the whole lying about thing is a part of Bridgerton? idk i haven't watched it. i know i'm a loser. but i very much enjoy this idea for this universe!
