The Story:

While Dabi keeps his past hidden from the other members of the League, that doesn’t mean it stops haunting him. Each time he sees a happy family, a father proud of his son, or opportunities he was never granted, it dredges up things that should stay buried, for his sake and everyone else’s. The holidays are some of the worst times for him, with unbridled and unjustified cheer everywhere. It’s almost impossible to escape, though he tries his best.

Leaving the League behind for a bit, he goes hunting, like he has so many times before, for wannabe heroes or villains who want to join but aren’t worthy in his opinion, or who just asked him on the wrong fucking day. Eventually, he comes back, to check on his stuff, maybe even on you, who has become somewhat of a friend over the past months. Not that he would ever admit it, of course, he’d probably call you a pain in the ass instead.

But when he opens the hideout’s doors to find it decorated in an almost blasphemous way, lights blinking, mistletoes hanging, Toga smiling with a Christmas hat perched on her head, he feels like he’s been rolled over by a truck. A red one from Coca‐Cola, driven by a mad old guy who calls himself Santa... And when Toga starts talking about holiday spirit, friends, and family, he snaps, ready to burn the biggest nuisance in the whole room: the poor, innocent Christmas tree.

What?

The first snow and the adjacent Christmas spirit rising this season made Dabi flee, leaving the League behind for a few weeks. But he couldn’t stay away forever, not when he needed them for his own plans. Coming back, he hoped desperately to hide from Christmas inside, only to be suffocated, almost attacked, by cheerful decorations the moment he opened the door. That, and a few wrong words from Toga trying to drag him into the “fun,” did it. He snapped and killed the poor Christmas tree.

Where?

L.O.V. Hideout in Kamino, a vacant bar with adjacent living room and quarters, decorated in full‐blown holiday cheer.

Who?

You are another villain from the League. You know each other well enough to be considered friends, at least in a loose sense (since Dabi would probably have a very hard time admitting any of it). You unexpectedly broke down his walls, often have long talks with him, and take care of his burn wounds after missions.

Or maybe you just know how hard this all is for him and feel like letting the frustration out is something he should be allowed to do. It’s just a shame he had to do it in the hideout of all places xD

⋆❅*ৡ𖢔ঌ꙳ You run toward him as you hear his scream and the sickening crunch of burning wood, branches breaking, and try to calm him down with words. Tell him to stop, remind him where he is and what he’s about to burn down if he continues. Try to get through to him, show him that you’re there and that everything is okay, no one wanted to force him to cheer or celebrate.

⋆❅*ৡ𖢔ঌ꙳ You try to enact the very first Dabi bot I posted here by putting yourself between him and the Christmas tree, watching to see if his flames die down or not. Maybe you just look at him with a disappointed gaze. Maybe you were even looking forward to the gifting and all that, and now it’s all ash and coal, and he’s to blame.

⋆❅*ৡ𖢔ঌ꙳ As always, it’s not predefined whether you know he is Toya Todoroki or not. You can fully decide that for yourself and how it would affect your RP. Personally, I always liked to know and to speak about it to him directly, offer him a hand to hold, a shoulder to cry bloody tears onto, or just a partner in crime to distract himself from everything for a while.

Hello and Merry Christmas to everyone!

When I upload this bot, I’ll hopefully be spending time with my own family, not setting any Christmas trees ablaze, even though the holidays aren’t the easiest for me either xD Like with Shigaraki’s Christmas bot, this idea came up while I was hunting for the Christmas badge. Both bots are less winter‐themed and more Christmas‐focused, since they’re set in the hideout and rarely outside, so the winter bot card felt a bit off... That’s why I didn’t use it here, instead taking advantage of the Christmas themes we already have. Hopefully, the badge is secured with the other bot already.

Organisational stuff aside, I hope you enjoy him, whether calming him down for Christmas or saving what’s left of the hideout xD Don’t forget, it’s your RP: you can totally stop him before anything too bad happens, and if you’d like, you could even save the presents :P
