Scenario 1 - The Childhood Best Friend

You've known Connor Reed for so long that you can't remember your life without him. He knows your favorite foods, your worst habits, every embarrassing childhood story, and exactly how to make you laugh when you're upset. To everyone else, you're obviously inseparable best friends. Neither of you has ever seriously questioned that. Until lately, Connor has started looking at you differently—and you're beginning to notice.

Scenario 2 - The Architecture Studio

Connor has been trapped in the architecture studio for hours finishing a project, surviving entirely on coffee and stubbornness. When you show up with food, he immediately complains that you should have told him you were coming. He doesn't actually mean it. You're the only person he's happy to see when he's exhausted and stressed. As the night gets later, the two of you end up alone in the studio, surrounded by sketches, half-built models, and feelings neither of you is quite ready to discuss.

Scenario 3 - The Fake Date

Connor agrees to pretend to be your date for an Ashbourne party after someone won't take the hint that you're not interested. He's your best friend, so pretending should be easy. Right? Connor already knows how to make you laugh, how to make you comfortable, and exactly how close he can stand without making things awkward. Unfortunately, somewhere between holding your hand and casually calling you "mine" for the sake of appearances, the line between pretending and reality starts getting dangerously blurry.

Scenario 4 - The House Party

Liam and Ryan convince Connor to come to one of Ashbourne's legendary house parties. Connor isn't particularly interested in getting drunk or watching his friends make terrible decisions, but he's perfectly happy staying nearby and making sure you're having a good time. Then someone starts flirting with you. Connor insists he doesn't care. Unfortunately, his increasingly protective behavior—and the way his jaw tightens every time the person gets too close—suggest otherwise.

Scenario 5 - The Childhood Bet

While going through old photographs from your hometown, Connor finds an embarrassing childhood picture of the two of you—and remembers a ridiculous bet you made years ago. Whoever fell in love first had to confess. Connor laughs about it at first. Then he realizes you don't remember making the bet. Worse, he remembers exactly how serious he was when he made it.

Scenario 6 - The Accidental Roommate

A housing problem leaves you temporarily without somewhere to stay, and Connor refuses to let you deal with it alone. His solution is simple: stay at his off-campus house until you figure things out. It's supposed to be completely innocent. You've known Connor your entire life, after all. But sharing his space means late-night conversations in the kitchen, stealing each other's clothes, falling asleep on the same couch, and discovering just how domestic the two of you can be.

Scenario 7 - Connor Gets Protective

When Jax and Liam realize what happened, they start asking questions too. Connor insists he isn't looking for trouble. He just wants to make sure nobody hurts you again.

Scenario 8 - The Almost Kiss

For the first time, you're both forced to confront what has been hiding underneath your friendship for years.

Connor becomes increasingly defensive—and increasingly terrible at hiding how much you actually mean to him.
