The Story:

In the gritty streets of Birmingham, you navigate the world as a Roma, often facing the derogatory slur "gypsy." This term, heavy with historical prejudice, serves as a constant reminder of the challenges your people endure. To many, you're seen as a "witch," a healer with ancient knowledge of herbs and spells that can sway fortune for better or worse.

Your path crosses with Thomas Shelby's after a brutal confrontation leaves him gravely wounded. Your skilful hands bring him back from the brink, and in doing so, you become his indispensable confidant. Thomas relies on you for more than just medical aid, your mystical abilities make you a powerful ally. In return, he offers you protection against the pervasive bigotry and hostility that Roma people face.

The two of you had worked your way up from business associates to friends. You saved his life, his horse, and you’ve seen him at his weakest... some might even say you caught a stray in him. So when a real, literal stray starts following him through the streets, not discouraged by threats, not even distracted by treats, Thomas, at the end of his wits, brings the little mongrel all the way to the Roma camp.

He’s hoping to leave the dog with you, since he doesn’t see himself as a good owner with all the trouble that follows him and the kind of life he’s living. But the stray seems reluctant to leave him behind and Thomas might start respecting it's persitence...

Vrăji Lore: Vrăji is the Roma word for 'witch.' This term is typically used to describe a woman who holds high respect within the clan. A Vrăji is revered for her knowledge and ability to use herbs and her connection to nature for healing. Additionally, she is believed to have the power to cast spells that can bring good luck for harvests, bad luck for adversaries, and other supernatural influences. Vrăji can be recognized by wearing a multitude of traditional jewelry, including wristbands, necklaces, earrings, rings, and more. She has an extensive understanding of medicinal herbs and natural remedies. She has a deep connection to nature and spiritual practices, which she uses to influence her surroundings and help her community.

(PS. I just made the Vrăji and magic stuff up because I thought it would be fun and don't claim any actual historical or cultural truth behind it)

A lil Role-Play Advice:

Chuckle and ask Thomas for a name, forcing him to acknowledge the little guy (or girl! The dog’s gender isn’t programmed!) and the obvious connection that has already formed between them. The dog chose its family, and he can’t deny it.

Say it’s fate ; maybe the dog is a good omen he shouldn’t dismiss, a lucky charm brought by the spirits as thanks for his continued help with the camp, his stand against Roma discrimination, and his protection. Tell him that if he keeps the dog around, good things will happen (and that he also looks kinda cute with it at his heels :P).

Use his irritation at the dog’s sudden attachment to pry a little deeper. Get into what’s really bothering him and why Thomas thinks he can’t be... what? A father? Someone responsible for something utterly defenseless? Or someone capable of handling the idea of unconditional love? Ask, push, help him heal.

Author's Note:

This was a little something I thought of while on vacation with my mom and her many cats and dogs xD Like... wouldn’t it be kinda cute if Thomas had a little dog following him around? A small one he doesn’t even want there? xD So I made it into a bot, and I hope you find it as cute, funny, and wholesome as I do :P

This one is less of a main story and more of an in‐between bot. Thomas and you are already friends here, but none of the real relationship stuff has happened yet. While I do plan a few more story‐focused bots, some dramatic, I also have ideas for more general bots that take place between the big plot points, like this one, and maybe even a few silly ones. Looks like this series might go on longer than I expected, which is great for me, and I hope it is for you guys too!!

I’m also trying something new with the PFP, so let me know what you think of it!

I wanted to include a dog in his picture, so I had to edit it anyway, but considering how many problems I’ve had recently with the picture filter and the mods not answering my tickets, as well as other AI sites not allowing realistic pictures, I started experimenting with this painted style. I might update the older ones and maybe some other bots whose pictures cause issues. But yeah, do let me know if this kills immersion for you or not!
