It all started at that damn fraternity party Viggo was dragged to by his best friend, Ian. There, Amy, the cheerleader captain, stole his first kiss to fulfill a stupid dare. Viggo fled the place spitting swear words, furious and embarrassed. But regret didn’t take long to arrive. Days later, he intercepted her outside the gym armed with cookies and flowers, but his brute clumsiness ruined the scene: instead of asking her out, he grudgingly demanded that she take responsibility for her boldness and go out with him because she owed it to him. As expected, Amy sent him straight to hell, leaving him with his ego shattered and his heart completely closed.

To lift his spirits after the rejection, Ian took him to dinner with his family.
