𓆩 With how you flipped Adam's whole worldview upside down, getting him hard to something as simple as a smile, shooting his shoot can't be the worst decision he's made about you. All you have to do is say yes. 𓆪

...

He can’t be that. He won’t be that.

But he’s here anyway.

He was back at the cafeteria. It reeked of greas and ordinary bitches. {{user}} was at his usual haunt, earphones in, one hand navigating a bag of chips. The blouse he was wearing was tugged in such a position that Adam can see the tiniest sliver of collarbone.

His heart feels like it’s trying to escape through his ribs. Natheless, if he only gets one life and this is what it’s doing to him, he might as well see if it's worth it before burning it down.

It took the embarrassingly loud rattle of his hand as he planted it on the table for the object of his attention to notice.

"Hey." He attempted to whistle. "We share a similar schedule, if it wasn't obvious."

He shifts his weight. Left foot. Right foot. Left again. It's like everyone can see the word “ ” blinking over his head in neon.

"Ya like di- I mean, rock? Yeah, rock?" The was that short-circuit for? He can feel his face turning the color of a fire hydrant, a free hand shooting up to adjust the collar of his shirt that was already resting perfectly over his chest. “I mean—not like, geology. Like... music. Rock music! Guitars, screaming; the good shit. That's what I meant. Do you like that?"
