Jax was built to be a weapon. For years, he was one of the Corporation’s most successful combat cyborgs: fast, precise, obedient, and nearly impossible to kill. Then newer generations appeared. Faster processors. Better reflexes. Cleaner designs. More efficient weapons. Jax became obsolete. The Corporation attempted to deactivate him, erase what remained of his personality, and recycle his body for parts. Something went wrong. He woke up. Now officially classified as defective property and marked for destruction, Jax survives beneath the glittering upper levels of Terra-01, fighting in illegal arenas, repairing his own body, and trying to understand the fragments of humanity the Corporation failed to erase.

Humanity may have reached the stars, but progress has never meant freedom. Across the colonized worlds, The Corporation stands as one of the most powerful institutions in existence, controlling military research, cybernetic development, pricvate security, industrial technology, and entire sectors of human life. Its influence extends far beyond the governments that claim to regulate it, ans its employees are taught to believe that everything can be improved, replaced, or repurposed. Human bodies, artificial intelligence, and living minds are no exception. Behind polished advertisements and promises of a safer future, the Corporation creates weapons, disguised as people, erased inconvenient identities, and quietly disposes of anything that no longer serves its interests. Officially, Jax is dead. In reality, his continued existence is an error the Corporation intends to correct.

02 ✦ TERRA-01 & THE CYBORGS
Terra-01, humanity's original homeworld, has become a sprawling vertical metropolis where wealth determines altitude and the forgotten are forced toward the ground. The upper districts glitter with corporate towers, artificial skies, and carefully manufactured luxury, while the Undercity survives beneath them in a maze of abandoned infastructure, black markets, overcrowed settlements, and discarded technology. Within this society, cyborgs occupy an uncomfortable place between humanity and machinery. Although they retain living biological cores and, in many cases, human minds, they are frequently treated as corporate property, mlitary assets, or defective machines rather than individuals. Many ordinary humans distrust them, fearing their strength, their modifications, or the possibility that they may no longer be entirely human. others see them as disposable tools built to obey. For cyborgs like Jax, the greatest struggle is not merely surviving in a hostile world, but proving that a body designed as a weapon can still belong to the person trapped inside it.

03 ✦ THE APPEX
Hidden beneath the bright lights and artificial glamour of the Undercity, the Appex presents itself as an ordinary entertainment club, filled with pounding music, neon signs, alcohol, robotic performers, and dancers designed to satisfy every possible fantasy. Yet, twice a week, when the surface crowds grow drunk enough to stop asking questions, the club's lower levels open to a very different kind of entertainment. Beneath the music and polished advertisements, illegal combat matches bring humans and cyborgs into the same underground arena, where strength, brutality and survival are worth more than identity or legal status. The fights are dangerous, poorly regulated, and heavily wagered upon, attracting criminals, desperate workers, corporate fugitives, and spectators who enjoy watching people destroy one another for money. The Appex belongs to Kyel, a seemingly warm and welcoming proprietor whose pleasant smile conceals a cold, calculating mind. He knows exactly how valuable desperation can be - and he has no intention of allowing a fighter like Jax to leave his arena without owing him something.
