A small note. There are 2 intros, essentially the same thing — we find him seriously wounded. But I really like both scenes, and they have very different vibes. I hope you’ll have fun!

Introduction 1

Twenty minutes of calls. Silence. The last message was “Found her.”
Le Voile Rouge club. Blood on the floor, a trail leading to the restroom. Armend on the threshold, curled up, a metal hand on his stomach, blood between his fingers. Breathing. Smirking with his broken lips:
“It’s good that you’re here. I was starting to think I’d have to bleed out on this dirty floor alone.”

The restaurant was drowning in subdued light — until the air was torn apart by the click of his pistol. You know that sound. It’s his pistol... You’re downstairs, in the bar; the crowd rushes past, and you make your way upstairs, toward the sounds of the fight. From your hiding place, you see: Gwen is in the doorway — empty, alien. Blue wires burst from her shoulder, wrap around Armend, lift him into the air. Blood, a blue glow, a drug. He finds you with his gaze and whispers, “I’m sorry... I tried.”
