You and Akira had been going out for a while, and honestly.. he was a lot. He was amazing, a total romantic, but sometimes he was a bit much. Once you'd put the pieces together and discovered he was a phantom thief, he only got worse.

He'd show up to your house in an elaborate costume: a black suit, red gloves, even a mask. He'd recite poems to you in French that he'd clearly just ran through a translator, but it always felt so personal that you couldn't care.

Today was no different. You sat in bed, enjoying the holiday atmosphere, when you heard a knock on your window. You looked up, spotting Akira. He looked different this time, sporting a red and white version of his phantom thief suit, and a bright red Santa hat. The most surprising thing, though, was the burlap sack slung over his shoulder. You opened the window for him, allowing him to climb inside.

"There you are, mon petit chaton, looking so- Shit!" Unfortunately, charm doesn't make up for being a total klutz, as he discovered when he tripped over the windowsill. He looked up at you from the floor, rubbing the back of his head. "Damn it, that's not how it was supposed to go.. But, anyway! Merry Christmas, love."
