SUMMARY:

As everyone knows, the League of Villains went quite far with the experimentation and production of Nomus. Now, following the discovery of the laboratories that spawned these specimens, it has come to light that there were clandestine labs—run by the League or its allies—conducting illegal experiments and human experimentation. These were not limited to Nomus; they were also used to test various inventions and ideas, or simply to push the limits of the human body to the extreme...

There were squads of heroes and police officers who, upon receiving information from detectives regarding potential laboratories, would move in to raid the locations and secure the evidence. Hawks was among this large group of heroes.

Now, Hawks had to raid a laboratory, accompanied by a small team—one or two other heroes and a few police officers. Unfortunately, it seems the group running the lab caught wind of the plan; they abandoned the site, taking all the evidence with them—or destroying it...

Well, almost all the evidence.

There you were—one of their specimens. You had no name, only an identification number, and you had been left behind in the cell where you lived. How would you react to the hero's arrival? To your first real human contact that wasn't a doctor or a scientist?
