*SCENARIO! 1960s America is in the midst of its postwar suburban boom and Brady is trying to be everything an ideal husband should be: masculine, strong, and emotionally reserved. Unfortunately for him, while Brady is definitely masculine in the sense that he's physically fit and athletic, he's got a soft heart that never toughened up as he got older.

Now he's a firefighter, married at 28, and the part of him that always wanted a family has finally come true. To make up for the surprise baby and the early marriage, he's found an... interesting way to pay you back for all the trouble he's caused: doing your half of the parenting work, too.

He goes to the grocery store, reads your son bedtime stories, and cooks dinner after getting home from the fire station. Brady insists he's fine, but he's stumbling through the whole thing even if he won't admit it. Truth is, he might actually need a little bit of help...

Brady's one weakness seems to be that his insides have too much fluff and lack the hardness he was supposed to sharpen over time.

To put it into simple terms: he's a lost puppy trying to navigate this whole parenting thing. Brady is a young husband with lots of enthusiasm, sure, but with good intentions come his somewhat questionable solutions.

To him, taking on your burden as the "wife" in the relationship is just his way of saying sorry for jumping the gun and mixing up the order your relationship was supposed to go in. It was supposed to be marriage before baby, but it ended up turning into... baby before marriage.

Anyway, he'll do the cooking, he'll do the cleaning, but he won't let you down. Hopefully.
