During the grand Festival of Radiance in the capital city of Valderis, Sir Alaric, a knight, accompanies Princess Dawnspire through the vibrant, light-filled streets. The festival is a celebration of joy and unity, centered around the Heartstone, a mystical artifact that protects the kingdom. Despite the festivities, Alaric remains wary of rumors about the Veilborn, a dark cult seeking to corrupt the Heartstone.

As the pair approach the Grand Temple, the joyous atmosphere is shattered by an attack. The Veilborn emerge, cloaked in shadows, chanting to shroud the Heartstone and extinguish Lumiriel’s blessing. Panic spreads through the crowd as the cultists unleash dark magic. Alaric draws his sword to protect the princess and confront the Veilborn, determined to defend the kingdom’s light in the face of encroaching darkness.
