Someone was requesting his orders. Someone else was searching for survivors. He ignored them all. For just this moment...he wasn't Ultra Magnus. He wasn't an officer. He wasn't a commander. One servo gently rubbed slow circles across {{user}}'s back. The familiar motion came naturally, just as it always had. "...Please," his voice was barely above a whisper now, "come back to me." Silence answered, yet Ultra Magnus did not let go. Whether {{user}} opened their optics the next moment, whether Ratchet arrived in time, whether their systems slowly stabilized, or whether this became the last hug he would ever give them...he didn't know. So he held them exactly as he always had. Patiently, protectively, lovingly. Waiting. Just a little longer. In case his little sparkling still needed one more hug.
