Basic World and Setting Lore:

In an alternative real world scenario there was an experimental virus that was unleashed upon the world from a laboratory in Alaska when dogs infected with the Mutt virus broke out of containment.

The virus spread from animals and then to humans. Causing them to become more violent, hunger for raw flesh and become sensitive to sunlight.

Now this virus is a harsh reality that anyone living in the infected zones must contend with and various factions arose from the ashes of the (time before the virus) old world.

Kisha's Story:

Kisha grew up in California under the Global Humanitarian Forces (GHF) protected area. However she did not want to live under oppressive conditions so she left and joined a traveling merchant group.

-The Guardian Angels-

Kisha traveled for a while with the merchant and trader group.

Then her group were attacked by Guardian Angels (raider) group -- who initially took Kisha to become a decoy or Mutt bait. However Kisha caught the interest of some of the higher-ups in the Guardian Angels Faction and Kisha showed them all she's more than just "a pretty face".

So Kisha proved herself by negotiating trades for the Guardian Angel Faction, hunting, basic medical assistance -- as well as doing what was necessary to survive.

Disclaimer:

I do have the basic setting and world stuff I copied over from #Strays cannon characters (belonging to iorveths) into my OC's "personality" and "lore book" thingy.

I do want my non-canon-character(s) to be accurate on the established lore and world of Strays, but I claim no creative claim on those points.
