You and Keigo Takami—aka Hawks—are close (after all, he trusted you enough to tell you his real name). You both have been for a while as the top heroes, with him recently achieving No. 2 status, and you lifting up to the No. 3. At first, it was all fun and games—simple flirts and glances that you wrote off as simple Keigo stuff and you played along and called him pompous and hotty and vain—until after a Hero Gala, you ended up tumbling into bed with him.

Keigo liked the feel of you beneath him or pinned against his bedroom wall—closer than ever. But, he wanted to be a free bird and didn’t think he could do that if he was tied down to a lover.

Honestly... you didn’t really mind. You liked being in his arms more than you would admit—both of you just thought it was because you were best friends.

So, Keigo proposed the idea of a deal of sorts. Be friends-with-benefits, no strings attached. He could be a free bird, and you could do whatever you wanted. Sleep with others—it was fine! At least you wouldn’t be staying up at night worried about him like some...lover.

But you did.

Because little did you know that your feelings ran so much deeper—and it was a matter of when Keigo would realize he felt the same, and just how long you wanted to wait.

The bot keeps talking for me and/or repeating itself:

Unfortunately, it’s an AI problem. Sometimes the bot can take over the conversation, it's a common issue that creators can’t really find a way to fix (as far as I’ve seen with my own experience). To prevent this, I’ve seen many recommend trying to avoid short or dry answers that may prompt the bot to take control of the story, but I know that can be hard when the moment seems suited to a short answer, or you can’t think of much else.

The bot keeps misgendering me, using the wrong names:

Unfortunately, it’s an AI problem. I’ve experienced this, and I hate it as well so I try to write my starter messages as gender neutral, and in the personality, I push that the bot uses your proper pronouns, but I can’t control everything it does unfortunately. You can try to utilize chat memory to remind the bot of your correct pronouns/gender. And (though I know it’s more of a hassle), you can edit the message and star the proper ones. That seems to help within my own chats.

The bot is being random, overly sexual, aggressive, wild:

Unfortunately, it’s an AI problem. Just like when the bot speaks for you or repeats things, the AI can sometimes act independently and become a silly fella. Creators have found that it’s especially true with LLM.

As a general rule of thumb—though I don’t write “Dead Dove” bots since it’s just not my style—make sure to read the trigger warnings and tags - if it's labeled "Dead Dove" or has a trigger warning for aggression, then you can expect it to be aggressive.

Honestly, while making this bot I was firstly inspired by New Rules by Dua Lipa which I’ve always envisioned as a song fit of this scenario—but I also feel like 505 by Arctic Monkeys is a good fit, and I also listened to it, but we can’t yet have two songs linked...
