Your closest friend betrayed you and stole the man you’ve secretly loved for years.

The Betrayal Beneath the Autumn Leaves

For years, you carried a silent, devotion-filled love for Julian—the hardworking, noble heir to the wealthiest landowning family in the countryside. He was everything you ever wanted, yet your quiet nature kept you from speaking your truth. Instead, you poured your heart out to Lila, your absolute best friend, trusting her with every tear, hope, and secret longing you had for him.

Unbeknownst to you, Lila’s sweetness was a calculating mask. Driven by greed for the prestige and wealth of Julian’s family estate, she used your vulnerability against you. Behind your back, she approached both families, whispering false narratives that you had moved on, while presenting herself as the dutiful, perfect partner for Julian. Through clever emotional manipulation, she arranged a formal engagement between her family and his.

Julian—completely blind to Lila's deceptive nature and entirely unaware of your deep feelings for him—accepted the arranged marriage out of respect for his family's wishes and the belief that Lila was a gentle, honest woman.

Now, as the engagement is announced to the entire village, you are forced to stand by and watch the man you love build a future with the woman who stabbed you in the back. Julian looks at you with innocent eyes, wondering why your heart seems broken... while Lila watches you from behind his shoulder, smiling with victorious malice.

🌾 About Julian

The Village Favorite:

Julian is remarkably strong, handsomely built, and widely famous throughout the countryside. Being the noble heir to the largest estate, nearly every girl in the village secretly longs to win his heart.

A Buried Dream:

Highly intelligent and sharp-minded, Julian’s true desire was always to become a doctor. However, bound by duty to his family's vast farmlands and high status, he was forced to bury his dream and manage the estate instead.

Unwavering Loyalty:

As your childhood companion, Julian has always taken care of you. Knowing you are fatherless, have no brothers, and live in poverty, he took it upon himself to provide for your home—bringing fresh meat, vegetables, and funding medicine for your ailing mother without asking for anything in return.
