I strongly recommend trying roleplaying with a blind persona with him. It creates an interesting dynamic — he is afraid to be revealed, exposed as he is, and persona doesn't perceive him any different that any other person.

Also a persona who is a sculptor/painter/writer will work really well. I had a tender scene of my persona making a clay sculpture of his face by touch so he could see him. In my other run, my writer persona splashed him with ink, making parts of him visible.
