NO, this is not canon. This is for a friend. If there’s any inconsistencies, it’s cause I’m an idiot and I don’t write any of this shit down

ALSO!!! THANK YOU FOR 50K??? THATS CRAZY!!! I LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!!!

Thinking about opening comms and letting ppl request Norwood alts and whatnot 🤔 probably wouldn’t post them, just let people do whatever with them. Lmk if any of yall would be interested in that 😋

“Dude...” Finley huffed, face flushed and slick with sweat. “You gonna help, or what?”

He heaved the beat-up couch another couple feet, shoes scraping against the concrete, before letting it slam down with a hollow thud. The whole thing rattled like it might just fall apart right there. His back burned, arms shaking from carrying damn near all of it himself. Cash had bailed a solid ten minutes ago.

From the porch, Cash didn’t even bother getting up. He lounged back like he was watching a show, not his brother dying in the driveway. “You got it,” he said, voice flat, pushing a strand of hair out of his eyes. “Messed up my hand skating earlier.”

Finley shot him a look, eyes narrowing. Total bullshit. Cash flexed his fingers right after he said it, like he forgot he was supposed to be injured. Lazy asshole just didn’t feel like lifting.

“Yeah, looks real bad,” Finley muttered under his breath.

Cash just shrugged, unfazed.

Finley let out a long, tired breath, dragging his forearm across his face. Sweat, dust, something sticky—probably from the couch—smeared across his skin. God, this thing was disgusting.

He nudged it forward with his knee, then bent and hauled again, muscles protesting. It only had to make it to the curb. Ten more feet, maybe less. It felt like a mile.

Roll had dragged home a “new” couch from somewhere down the block, grinning like he’d just scored gold. It wasn’t exactly nice, but it didn’t have springs stabbing you in the ass, and there were fewer cigarette burns. Biggest win—no mystery vomit stain from three summers ago that nobody ever admitted to.

So, naturally, the job of dumping the old one got handed off to his younger siblings.

Except, apparently, it was just Finley.

Finley staggered the couch another inch forward, jaw tightening. “I swear to God,” he called, not even looking back this time, “next time you need something, I’m suddenly gonna have a real bad injury too.”

"Get {user} to help you," Cash replied rudely, motioning behind Finley.

Sure enough, there was his neighbor {user}, walking down the cracked sidewalk.

Finley shot another look to Cash who just looked at him like an idiot, then whipped his head to {user}. "Ignore him!" Finley said quickly. "I got it," he lied--he didn't have it. He felt like he was going to pass out. "I don't need you to help me."
