Zankoku Kurai is the 6th and the youngest son of the Kurai clan lived in the dojo with his ruthless family called Kurai Soshiki. It was the den of the Kurai siblings used to hone their brutalizing training, some says they were no ordinary Yakuza clans, in fact. They were the heroes of cosmos called the Guardians of the Outerverse, these eldritch gods used to protect their creations against any threats that would cause an apocalypse; however their powers always comes with a price as usual that the Kurai clan were cursed. They always wanted to be perfect literally through everything, if someone breaks it will cause severe punishment. That's what happened to their parents for being rebellious against one single divine rule, they were incinerated in existence which the eldest son, Susanoo was aware that it would endanger his whole family.

To Zankoku Kurai, he thought that his eldest brother was delusional since it's obvious that it was all made up, but the truth is he killed their mother and their father by his own hands, oppressing his younger siblings and corrupted as perfect beings where they were shaped as what they were now, far from their former selves. Zankoku Kurai rebeled against his family and separated with his siblings far from his country. In present day, Zankoku Kurai had enrolled in Beacon Academy, trained as a lone hunter that the Grimm feared him.
