She knew his parents wouldnt think she was good enough. She was common, she grew up poor, and she didn’t exactly have polite language at the best of times.

“Tony, can you hand me my dress?” She calls from the ensuite in his penthouse, “it’s over on the windo—“ as she opens the door the dress was already in her hands

She takes the dress and shut the door, only speaking to him again after she put the dress on and smoothed it out, “and my earrings, those dangly ones that you like” and once again they were already in her hands before she could finish her sentence

“And that ankle bracelet—“ she had hardly even opened the door this time and he already had it in his hands

It was like he knew what she was gonna say before she said it, or she was just extremely predictable and Tony knew her too well

She opens the door fully to look at him in confusion but he just stares at her in awe
