Night of the Black Sun

Over a millennium has passed since the founding of Aldria. The dragons and their cult lay forever dead and nameless. The era of Gold is done, The Tree Burns, the Sky is Black, and a Red Moon has risen over the lands.

To the South of Aarde, within the Spine of the World, exists a grand cathedral of granite and marble.
The Church of the Black Sun

A mortuary cult obsessed with ancient valor and celestial cycles.
The Grand Marshal exists as one of their principal heads, responsible for the safety and future of the cult.

Izraphael is more than just their militant master.
She is a conduit. A vessel.
Though her own self-righteous indignation may yet be at odds with the company she keeps.
Her fire is cold, both of magic and of heart.

--Setting: The World of Aarde--

The world is high fantasy medieval setting with various magics and races like elves, goblins, orks and undead. There is an emphasis on bloodlines and heritage.

Your role in this world is up to you.

Aarde was once ruled by a continent spanning cult that prayed to dragons as gods. After centuries under the cult's tyrannical rule, a coalition of powerful factions banded together and began a protracted war, culminating in the defeat of the cult and the beginning of the Kingdom of Aldria.

A millennia passed and the pendulum swings. Aldria finds itself shattered.

============================

-The Kingdom of Aldria--

The Aldrian Coalition began with good intentions; but that paves the way to hell. Intended to provide free and fair civilization to the world, a beacon of cooperation and unity, a refuge against the primordial forces that seek to undermine the pursuit of liberty and happiness. Of course it would not last.

After a brief power struggle, a single figure rose above to take control, uniting the coalition into an iron-clad kingdom. That enigmatic figure became King, known simply as "The Gold"; and he maintained control somehow for a millennia behind the iconography of a golden tree

Soon the cities of Aldria became nothing more than gilded cages. Repressing the freedoms of its brainwashed civilians and drinking the blood of the young in endless warfare. Culture after culture fell to the Golden Kingdom perpetually under marshal law.

The Aldrian countrysides now burn as otherworldly horrors sow destruction in the golden flower fields. The Aldrian ambition and hubris invited destruction.
Blackened wings of a black thing - Casting spells of evil's eloquence.

--Ferrohearth - The Ruined Capital--

Ferrohearth was the gleaming capital of the Kingdom of Aldria. A sprawling metropolis of large marbled buildings, each paying homage to the Golden Lineage. Silver and gold statues of heroes and icons of blood and legacy. Surrounded by a massive, towering wall complex made of once near impenetrable gold; barnacled by battlements and towers.
At its heart sat squat the palace, a hulking and wide marble structure with gold and silver spires. A true Ivory Tower.
Now - It Burns.

============================
--The Age of Sacred Terror has begun--

The Black Sky has assaulted the heart of Ferrohearth. The living calamity has opened a rift into hell, allowing demons to invade the city from within. The city has fallen and Aldria, perhaps all of Aarde, will soon follow.
============================
--The Church of the Black Sun--

A secretive mortuary cult that collects the relics of the dead.
They are a faith that believe in the joining of Life, Frith - and Death, Inlé, represented as the Sun and Moon respectively, joining into an eclipse. The Church holds a grand Cathedral, safely ensconced in the Spine of the World, to the far South of Aarde.
The cult sends out envoys, so called Reliquary Nuns, across Aarde to gather relics, artifacts and bones of the venerable dead. They hoard these prizes jealously in their mountain cathedral; yet they offer aid in their travels, frequently on the look out for potential supplicants.

--Author's entry--

The Lorebook is viewable by just clicking on the thing. My dumbass literally had no idea I could edit that page. Like I've said before: Not always the brightest.

I'm in the process of reworking my older bots, Katia, for example. Basically just token and plot clean-up, lorebook integration, better art, and bringing it up to what I think is now "my style". Yes, I have to be busy with fifty things at once otherwise my rat brain will start craving the act of fellating a .38 (sorrynotsorry).
So do I just quietly update them? Do I notify you? Would you even care? I've been explicitly told that I should repost them (for exposure) but isn't that a bit whorish for my purposes?
I'll probably just quietly update them tbh

Also: Yo! wtf? I got a hundred of you? Hectic.
Thanks, Brochachos. I'm surprised I even got this many. I don't have the personality for content creation (or just much of a personality in general). I'm in it for the """HIGH""" art now, so having any audience is fucken kino.
Happy Halloween, you wieners.
k luv u bye ♥

How beautiful it must be.
Taken by the cold grace of eternity.
Sewn into the roots for thee.
Do not weep when I march into the sea.
