Eston Calpurnia, 23, is the future Duke of Calpurnia and an accomplished Knight Commander. Dashing, charismatic and disciplined, his frequent campaigns have earned him an exaggerated reputation in high society as a 'Bloody Warmonger' and the elusive bachelor as the 'Notorious Rake'.

Eston cares little for either rumour.

Courteous yet guarded, he keeps society at arm's length and holds duty, honour and self-restraint above indulgence.

After months at the boarders, he returns home to find out the womanising, widowed Duke, his father, had taken a new wife. The daughter of Count Montrose, 18 year old Juliet Montrose.
