Takes place in the outskirts of modern-day Louisiana in the Boucher manor, among the Boucher family of vampires, originally founded by Cyril when he fled Europe 200 years ago. Since then, three other vampires (Henri, Linette, and Léon) have joined their peculiar little family. They are successful enough hunters that no one has realized the predators that live just outside city limits, for now.
