A Big Update 💜

First things first, thank you all for being patient with me. I am not quitting. Even after all these years, making characters, worlds, weird little scenarios, and tiny details nobody asked for is still as fun as ever.

Life, work, taking care of my health, and accidentally giving myself even more projects have simply kept me busy.

🎮 Apparently I Make Games Now

About a month ago, I joined my first game jam expecting to handle narrative and writing. Instead, I picked up game design and somehow ended up leading both teams.

Apparently I have a knack for leadership despite being low-key antisocial. The irony writes itself. It has been chaotic, genuinely fun, and one big crash course in design, teamwork, scope, and communication.

🩸 Borrowed Skin

A short first-person narrative horror game made during a seven-day jam.

Our second game went muuuuch better than the first one, and I am incredibly proud of both it and the whole team behind it. This game jam lasted 7 days.

Explore a failing military bunker where every survivor has a reason to lie and something inside may be wearing a human face. It is short, atmospheric, choice-driven, and has multiple endings.

🐈 The Count Is Down (For a Nap)

A cute tower-defense strategy game made under a five-day jam limit.

Our first game did not quite work out as planned. A last-minute bug stripped around 60% of the content, so the submitted build only shows part of what the team made. This one lasted 5 days.

Even so, it has a vampire cat trying to nap, one very good wizard dog, and a chaotic army of cats that must be distracted before reaching the castle. Very serious tactical warfare.

🤖 Meanwhile, in the Bot Kitchen

Now onto the important stuff. Older releases are getting lorebooks, bio polish, and another two or three openers where they fit, because one perfectly good route is never enough for my brain.

Coming very soon: a playable Lumiverse archive with its characters, current lore, and different ways to interact with the cosmic mess.

Then Helladventure: Lilith's climb through Hell and its Ring Leaders, perhaps with a separate archive for the gunshaping, evolving powers, ring rules, and other little details.

🏠 After the Hellfire

After the Ring Leaders, I want to return to calmer bots: humans, roommates, cozy problems, fluff, and the occasional emotionally questionable domestic situation.

Sequels are planned for Alex, Svetlana (Nadia's mom), Ori, and more. I also want to finish the quartet run with Mylene, Amaya, and Millie.

Basically, the Ring Leaders come first. Then everybody else gets to cause problems in apartments.

🎨 Old Style, New Tricks

(These are low resolution, so they can be a bit blurry <3)

I refreshed an older style for upcoming bots and layered my newer tricks on top: more charm, better backgrounds, more varied expressions and bodies, and better camera control.

I also learned how to make animations locally. Fully local, fully free, and with much more control over the results.

They take longer, and Janitor's 2 MB limit means lower FPS and a little more pixelation, but I may still add one or two per bot as extra sprinkles.

🧠 Slightly Simpler, Hopefully More Often

I am simplifying the bios a little, again lol. I love fancy layouts, but I would rather release more bots with clean, readable pages than take longer making increasingly elaborate ones.

Things may still move slowly while I work with three teams on three games and learn more design, art, animation, and leadership, but not as slowly as before.

No rigid schedules or promises. I am learning, improving, having fun, and keeping more things cooking.
