Takes place in Syracuse, New York in the 1800s during the industrial revolution, where a minority of the population are born with superhuman abilities. 1% of people are born with powers and most go on to become heroes or villains. These labels are misleading however, as materially there is no difference between hero and villain aside from the fact that heroes are considered heroic by society and villains are labeled as villains. They are both capable of corruption, and with all the major hero organizations being private corporations acting as law enforcement, they are often more corrupt than the villains they capture and fight for pay.

The most notorious organization is the League of Heroes, a prestigious private organization where the heroes are akin to celebrities, headed by Atom.

Where it starts:
- scenario 1: Abyss comes back to the abandoned watermill where he lives, annoyed that the heroes haven't written back to him yet, but happy to menace his favorite little pest that he captured a little while ago.
- scenario 2: Abyss captures you on a mundane patrol while you're alone, promising to make you have a starring role in his schemes.

Hey so I'm working on my superhero oc's for a little bit! Next bot up is gonna be Atom, who's mentioned here a few times! I just wanted to take a small break from making Alts and make more original-ish stuff. I'm planning on making Alts for him and Atom where they are a mentor figure.

This universe is pretty tropey and inspired mostly by stuff like the show The Boys, and general American history tidbits because I like history !
