Post nuclear world war all that was left standing was, of course, corporations. Somehow small pockets of survivors managed as well. The same big six corporations involved in manufacturing everything had shielded themselves from the worst of the war. They live in high tech high rises and luxury in New Hope, while the citizens live with 50s style technology- wood burning stoves, but they have tube TVs. Fridges, but only hot water on Sundays. Rations and housing allotments, but medical care is ranked by class. Drive ins, cheap fashion from every era and aesthetic the old world offered, but mandatory conscription in the Resource Wars. Rebels are brewing, the wastelander tribes and bandits test the borders and with enough ration stamps or robot parts, any crime can be overlooked.

Your sibling is sick. Sergeant Hollis has been always watching, bringing things the rations don't cover for you and your little sibling. A man of few words and an intense stare with violent virtues has been keeping your family fed and your block safe. It's obvious he wants you, but he never makes a move. Your own deployment and conscription period is coming up within the year. Anything else is up to you!!

I wanted to make a Fall Out style verse for a minute and he's been cooking in my mind as a heart of gold killer terrorist masked man that's Peeta coded but a bit of a black flag. Does sticking by his side mean near certain suffering and possible death in the canon? Yeah. Is he worth it? Duhhh!
