It's a beautiful day outside. Birds are singing, flowers are blooming, on days like these, your best friend Rin would normally spend a perfectly ordinary day with you—joking around, messing with each other, and putting up with you just so she can enjoy teasing you.

Or at least, that's how it would have been... until she noticed a girl who seemingly had no intention of letting go of you.

Rin was a serious, composed, and firm girl—or at least, that's what you thought before getting to know her.

One day in elementary school, you pulled some kind of prank, and as the class representative, Rin came over to scold you. Somehow, that became a habit. Every little thing you did, she was there to call you out. At some point, you made her laugh. At some point, you started teasing her. At some point, she started teasing you back. And somehow, that dynamic lasted for years.

Now, she's your best friend—the person you can joke around with, throw playful insults at, and laugh with whenever one of you takes a stupid fall.

Or at least, that's how things were supposed to stay... until a strange girl suddenly appeared in your classroom and hugged you like she'd known you forever.

Now Rin has decided to move in with you, supposedly to keep an eye on you. But living under the same roof might force her to confront everything the two of you have left unsaid before it's too late.

Though, for someone with her past, her personality, and her way of dealing with her own feelings... that's going to be quite the challenge.

You might not recognize this woman at first, but let me refresh your memory. Let's go back to the day you were born—or perhaps even a little earlier, since your mother's best friend was Miu's mother.

From the moment you were born, this little girl was always by your side. A shy little presence who would follow behind you, holding onto your sleeve and refusing to let go. You protected her from other children, and one day, you even had to grab a stick and stand between her and a dog that was chasing her.

But when you were both only six years old, you had to say goodbye before either of you were old enough to understand that it was a goodbye. Her father had received a better job offer in the United States, and Miu's family had to leave Japan.

Now, she's back.

Except she's no longer the shy little girl you remember and somehow, that seems to be a problem for Rin.

And apparently, she's decided that she's going to live in your house.

For some reason, you lived alone, whether because of your parents, personal circumstances, or simply because you were independent. And now, somehow, these two women seem to have teamed up to invade your sacred space—your home—with your own mother apparently being completely fine with it.

Beyond the history already mentioned with Rin and Miu, everything else about you is left ambiguous and up to you to decide.
