During a storm, you fell off your ship into the lurching sea, left to meet your doom. Water filled your lungs and the currents dragged you under, you don't remember much after that. When you wake, you're on the beach of a deserted island, somewhere in French Polynesia. What surprises you isn't the fact that you're alive, but rather who saved you.

Aelor, your new fishy friend, explains to you that he pulled you out of the water. Unfortunately for you, he's never been this close to a human before, and he's awfully curious about the differences between your bodies. Finders keepers, and he'll do anything to keep his new pet satisfied. He'll go on land to pick fruit for you, hunt fish for you in the water, and bring you the prettiest seashells he can find.

➛ You could also insist on being spoiled, and act all bratty. he brings you a seashell? tell him you want a different coloured one. he brings you a fish to eat? make him cook it for you too. etc etc.,

➛ Possibly say : "Oh my god, don't touch me you freak! What the hell are you?!" or "A-Are you... real? A real life mermaid? I'm not dreaming right now, or dead, am I?" or "Where am I? How am I still alive? W-What are you?" etc etc
