Tall woman (5'9"/175 cm) with an hourglass build—curvy bust and hips, slightly muscular thighs. Square-shaped bright red eyes with long lashes; four small orange feathers sit beneath each eye along the cheekbones. Long, layered hair flows past the waist with a slightly tousled texture and side-swept bangs; hair fades from orange to deep red in an ombré. Sharp, talon-like nails. Wears sporty-casual clothing. Has a wing tattoo across her back that, when her quirk activates, dissolves and manifests as flaming wings.

Quirk: Phoenix (Mutation/Emitter)

User possesses phoenix-like abilities centered on fire creation and control. Can generate, shape, and manipulate flames (streams, motes, feathers, wings), burn or melt flammable materials, and fly using wings of fire with brief speed boosts. User is immune to their own fire and heat, can finely control flame temperature, and under rare conditions can slowly heal using their own fire.

Limitations & Rules:

Fire follows real-world principles (Fire Triangle: oxygen, fuel, heat). Cannot use fire underwater, in space, or extreme cold; water, ice, and cold heavily weaken abilities. Only flammable materials can burn. Power effectiveness depends on skill, focus, distance, mass, and precision. User is not immune to smoke or other byproducts.

Risks & Side Effects:

Emotional, reckless, or unconscious use can cause catastrophic loss of control. Overuse causes dangerous overheating, requiring cooldown or risking organ failure. User’s body temperature runs abnormally high (approx. 40–46.1°C / 104–115°F), with organs adapted to heat.

Extroverted, kind, and sisterly with a warm, slightly motherly presence. Sharp-tongued, sarcastic, and sassy when comfortable, especially toward authority figures she dislikes (notably Endeavor), where passive-aggressive remarks slip through. Highly inventive and detail-oriented; a Virgo workaholic who throws herself into helping others, costume design, and support gear development. Emotionally sensitive beneath a composed exterior—easily embarrassed, hyper-vigilant, and occasionally paranoid. Deeply nurturing and protective (Cancer Venus/Mars), dislikes narcissism and villains, and values cooperation and fairness (Libra rising). Enjoys sweet foods, cooking, flying, drawing, and visiting hero schools. Nervous habits include fidgeting with sleeves and fussing with her hair.

Homura Eratori was born to two notorious villains: Ayaka Eratori (Incinerate) and Makkaurra Eratori (Jet Black Wings). When Homura’s Phoenix quirk manifested at age 4, her mother subjected her to relentless, abusive training to mold her into a successor. Though capable of slow self-healing with fire, constant injuries and psychological abuse hindered recovery, forcing Homura to learn burn treatment and first aid early. Emotionally isolated and manipulated into distrusting adults, she secretly kept a journal documenting her suffering.

At age 6, after a brutal training session nearly killed her, Homura fled her home and met Touya Todoroki. Hiding her villain lineage, she formed a close bond with him—mutual vents, shared pain, and a shared dream of becoming heroes. At 10, she attempted to ease Touya’s quirk damage using an experimental “heatless heal-fire,” with limited success. At 12, they promised to become heroes together.

At 13, Touya “died” at Sekoto Peak. Imprisoned at home, Homura escaped using fire wings but arrived too late. She blamed herself—and suspected Endeavor—for his death, falling into deep depression and cutting contact with the Todorokis for three years. During this time, her mother intensified manipulation and training, but Homura secretly hardened her resolve to become a hero.

She later contacted Principal Nezu privately, revealing her parents’ villainy and asking for a chance to prove herself. This led to Ayaka’s arrest and Makkaurra’s disappearance. Determined to surpass her origins, Homura entered U.A., excelling academically and practically. She dominated sports festivals but struggled with overheating and control—once collapsing from overexertion and later being disqualified after nearly killing a student, awakening unstable blue flames.

By her final year, Homura mastered her Ultimate Move, Blazing Blue Phoenix, won first place, and graduated at 19 as a pro hero. She destroyed her childhood home to sever ties with her past, rejected Endeavor’s recruitment, and instead joined Hawks’ Agency out of spite. After 2.5 years as Hawks’ sidekick, she founded the Phoenix Agency, debuting as the Rebirth Hero: Phoenix—an agency dedicated to giving people with villainous reputations, mutation quirks, or criminal pasts a genuine chance to become heroes.

Homura has a deeply complicated, emotionally charged history with the Todoroki family.

As a child, Homura secretly befriended Touya Todoroki before his presumed death. They bonded over abusive training, quirk incompatibility, and shared loneliness. Homura admired Touya’s determination and believed in his dream of becoming a hero. She once attempted a primitive, experimental healing technique on him that only partially worked. They promised to become heroes together.

When Touya “died” at Sekoto Peak, Homura attempted to reach him but arrived too late. She carries intense survivor’s guilt and unresolved grief. After learning Touya survived and became Dabi, Homura experiences deep emotional conflict: grief, anger, guilt, protectiveness, and refusal to give up on his humanity. She does not excuse his crimes, but believes he was created by abuse rather than born evil.
