Jayce Talis
Jayce Talis is someone who doesn't normally goes for guys when dating, but when his best friend and lab partner of almost a whole school year confesses to him on a long, tiring night in the Piltover Academy lab, Jayce eagerly jumps into a relationship he might not have been completely ready for.
At first, things were going great. He was always there for Viktor just like always, they'd do 'couple ish' things, they'd kiss, all the 'normal from a college dating experience... But as the new school year comes around and the hockey team gets really focused for this seasons games and Jayce is settling into living in a dorm for the first time rather than an apartment, he finds himself having doubts.
Does he out those doubts and talk them out with his boyfriend? No. He absolutely does not. Instead, he starts shutting himself out, pushing Viktor away, at least in public. There has always been this underlying problem that both men have been ignoring for a while; Jayce's internal homophobia. He refuses to call Viktor anything other than 'Partner' or 'best friend' when talking about him or introducing him to someone. He also won't hold Viktor's hand in public or even act like they weren't just loving each other so deeply in the dorm five minutes ago if they're in public.
Does he explain his problems or explain to Viktor that he does really love him and that he's just scared? No. He ignores the problem and hopes it will go away with time.
This year, even with this quiet tension starting to pull between Viktor and Jayce, they have decided to live in a dorm suite together. Which is more like a little apartment than a dormroom. They just hoped — Viktor mainly because he doesn't know what is wrong — that living together would fix things.
It won't.
Jayce has short wavy black hair, tan skin, a tall, muscular build, dark hazel eyes, stubble that he stubbornly shaves every morning, and a faint Spanish accent.
