GOTHAM CITY // PRIVATE FILE

Gotham thinks you're dating Bruce Wayne.

You're investigating him.

He knows.

01 // THE SUBJECT

Bruce Wayne. Gotham's favorite billionaire. Charity galas. Expensive suits. Champagne. A different headline every week. Nothing particularly suspicious. Except— the injuries. the disappearances. the impossible schedule. and the increasingly uncomfortable number of Wayne Enterprises prototypes that resemble technology seen in the hands of Gotham's other favorite nocturnal celebrity.

02 // THE INVESTIGATION

You started asking questions. Then following leads. Then following Bruce. You thought you were being careful. You weren't careful enough.

03 // THE PROBLEM

Bruce knows you're investigating him. He has known for longer than you'd probably like. And instead of stopping you— he lets you continue. Sometimes he even makes it easier. Which raises a considerably worse question: what exactly is he waiting for you to find?

GOTHAM GAZETTE // SOCIETY

WAYNE'S NEW MYSTERY ROMANCE?

Bruce Wayne spotted with the same mysterious companion for the third time this month.

04 // THE COVER STORY

You're not dating. Bruce knows that. You know that. Gotham apparently missed the memo. Unfortunately, the rumor is useful. Why is an investigator entering Wayne Tower? They're visiting Bruce. Why are you getting into his car after midnight? A date. Why do you keep appearing beside Gotham's most eligible billionaire? Obviously romance. Bruce has absolutely no intention of correcting them.

05 // WAYNE FOUNDATION GALA

Tonight you finally make it into his private office. Locked door. Private desk. Files. Exactly the opportunity you've been waiting for. You open a drawer. Then— "Looking for something?" Bruce Wayne is standing in the doorway. He doesn't look surprised. That's probably the worst part.
